Based on the University of Florida's Florida Greek Standards Accreditation Program (FGS), Sigma Kappa has been deemed a Noteworthy Chapter.
The Beta Tau chapter of Sigma Kappa has an overall GPA of 3.448, with many members in the Honors College, major-related honor societies, and the all-Greek honor society Order of Omega.
Many sisters participate in research, internships, and co-ops at reputable companies including Accenture, GE Power, Aldi, Lockheed Martin, the Hungarian Parliament, the House of Representatives, Northrop Grumman, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, and UF Social Media.
Beta Tau alumnae attend graduate school, law school, and medical school and have accepted job offers at companies such as Google, Alight Solutions, Noetic Creative, Raymond James, and Studios Architecture. We are extremely proud of our previous president who is now a Leadership Consultant for Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Sigma Kappa, Beta Tau is extremely passionate about the Children's Miracle Network's Dance Marathon! We actively fundraise and participate in events leading up to the event year-round and were able to raise a total of $53,570.79 in 2018. We have multiple sisters involved as Dance Marathon Captains, Delegates, ELPs, ADs, and dancers.
The women of Sigma Kappa, Beta Tau are heavily involved both on and off campus. Many sisters volunteer regularly and participate in campus initiatives such as All Greek Service Day and The Big Event. Sigma Kappas are members and hold leadership positions in various clubs and organizations at the University of Florida including The Big Event, Gator Growl, UF Advertising Society, Campus Diplomats, Preview Staff, Panhellenic Council, Florida Blue Key, Accent, and Florida Leadership Academy.
